Bariloche,
for the Latin-American ones, is synonymous with ski, sports
of mountain, between the snow-covered tops and the splendid
lakes of the Andes of the South, to 1650 km of Buenos Aires.
But Bariloche is not only one winter sports resort; it is
the principal city of the National park Nahuel Huapi, one
of the most formidable sets of lakes, of forests and mountains,
which will fill with wonder the travellers, whatever the season
of the year.
The path of Cerro Lopez, where
in summer it is possible to climb the mountain and to spend
the night in the refuge of the Andean Club. In clear weather,
Cerro offers a splendid sight on the lake and the tops of
the Andes cordillera, to Chile. One can also make one day
excursions of Bariloche to Cerro Tronador, Cerro Catedral,
Cerro Otto, or to the falls of Los Cesares. The area is famous
for the trout fishing, from November to March, and its lakes
accomodate navigators and veliplanchists.
The road known as of the seven lakes curves along the Chilean
border in a decoration of most sumptuous. It leads to the
small town of San Martin of los the Andes, not of rallying
of many hikers and campers.
Paseo Cordoba crosses the province of Neuquen, less green
from the proximity of the Patagonnes plains where a number
of estanciasde the area are still directed by English who
employ gauchos with the face engraved and bearing poncho,
knife and bombachas.
In the valley of Cholila, the locality of Esquel is, rested
by Welsh, and maintaining the starting point of the visits
of the national park of Los Alerces and the door of the valley
of Chubut.
