Argentina
is a country which has the dimension of a continent. All the
climates of the world are represented there. It is on its
territory that are the top highest of Latin America and the
southern hemisphere: Aconcagua; the broadest river of the
world: Plata. The Pampa is one of the most fertile grounds
of the sphere, covering a surface equal to that with France.
The first nations of these territories, Onas, Mapuches, Diaguitas
(which integrated the INCA Empire), Pampas and others, had
to yield their place in front of the colonists and the gauchos.
Because Argentina is also this immense end of Europe, transferred
in South America. A promised ground, which sometimes appeared
capricious, but where the myth of America remained long-lived.
This singular history generated an original culture, whose
Borges was the representative more shining. As dense and various
as the men and the cultures which it accomodated, Buenos Aires
resounds more readily of the echoes of Europe than of those
of America. Nostalgia! Nothing astonishing so that the tango
was born on banks from Plata. The stereotypes are essential
initially, and are used as stakes for the discovery of this
country. If the tango is indissolubly related to Buenos Aires,
the gaucho is always associated the Pampa. Then thousand differences,
thousand discovered come, thousand nuances, which make of
Argentina a single ground.
