La PAZ
Located at 3700 meters of altitude, La Paz which was founded in 1548 by the Spaniards, is the highest capital of the world (siége of the government since 1900).
During the colonial time, La Paz will remain a long time a peaceful village, now it became a large city of more than one million inhabitants who makes coexist the goldens delicious servant boys of the downtown area and the Indians will aymaras hills.

The Museum of ethnography and Folklore is installed in the palate of the marquis de Villaverde, a beautiful building which goes back to 1776. This museum exposes the life and the habits of two Bolivian ethnic groups, Chipayas and Ayoreos.
