The
agricultural sector employs the major part of the population
and the country is the second world raw material exporter
agricultural. . The sectors industrialist, mining and of transformation
are enough developed and amply contribute to the economy of
the country. Brazil also has of great mineral resources and
oil reservoirs located inside the country.
Currently,
after the crisis of the Asian markets in 1998, Brazil tries
to reduce, with the IMF, its economic and financial difficulties
in the short and medium term.
The principal trade partners of Brazil are the United States,
Japan, Germany and the Member States of the MERCOSUR.
