If
the town of Rio fascine and attracts the visitors since always,
the state of which it is the capital does not miss either
a charm and curiosities. Just like its capital, the state
of Rio offers contrasts seizing between the luxuriant mountains
and the flooded beaches of sun, located at only some of road
of the city.
Búzios
was discovered only in 1964... per Brigitte Bardot! Guest
by an Argentinian friend, the actress indeed accomplished
two stays with Búzios. That A is enough so that this
very quiet village of fishermen becomes universally known.
Búzios, or more exactly Armação back
Búzios, was formerly a peaceful village, nested at
the bottom of a bay.
After the passage of "Bardot", it suddenly became
synonymous with tropical splendour, with its white sand
beaches, its crystalline water, its palm trees, its coconuts,
his splendid wives with half naked, and its incomparable
softness of vivre.Souvent compared with Ibiza, or even with
St Tropez.
It is
at the time of the carnival and the weekends that the tourists
flow there in mass, the remainder of time, the village becomes
again a true haven of peace.
The sea front is thus not disfigured by skyscrapers as it
is the case in the majority of the large cities of Brazil.
The particular houses are integrated perfectly into the
landscape, and do not strip in the medium of the houses
of fishermen.
There are not almost large hotels in the village. Lodging
is done in pousadas, small very simple inns which do not
propose more than 12 rooms. That made it possible to preserve
the charm and the character of this small village.
There are in all 23 beaches in the area of Búzios.
Some are sheltered in peaceful small handles, others face
the ocean.
In spite of its small size, the city is one of the three
first of Brazil as regards the pleasures of the table.
The
town of Cabo Frio, discovered in 1503 by Amerigo Vespucci,
is famous for its long fine sand beaches and its dunes.
Cabo Frio is a historical city which shelters some beautiful
vestiges of the 17 3rd century: the fort of São Mateus,
built in 1616, Igreja Nossa Senhora de Assumpção,
built in 1615, Igreja Nossa Senhora da Asunção,
built in 1666 and Convento Nossa Senhora back Anjos, built
in 1686.
Between
Búzios and Cabo Frio is the hamlet Arraial C Cabo,
one of the more places of Costa C Ground Saved by the tourist
development. One finds there the water clearest of all the
coast southern of Brazil. The amateurs of diving and underwater
fishings give each other appointment to it.
Costa
Verde thus named because of the luxuriant vegetation which
dominates the littoral to the sea, the road which long the
coast will enable you to discover superb panoramas, tourist
cities, small villages of fishermen.
Costa Verde, strewn with innumerable beaches, extends on
more than 250 km along the sea.
Angra
back Reis (the bay of the kings), the city is stretched
on a series of hills to the entry of a bay where one finds
more than 370 islands, 2.000 beaches, 7 bays and a dozen
splits.
At one hour and half in boat isIlha Grande, largest of all
the islands of bay, 155 km². True tropical paradise,
this island counts some of most beautiful the beaches of
all Brazil.
Paratí,
a jewel of the colonial time. The whole city was declared
historic building by UNESCO in 1966. Paratí was founded
in 1660. The city knew its hour of glory to the 18 3rd century
with the discovery of gold and of diamonds in the state
close to Undermined Gerais.
Miraculeusement preserved because of its distance, Paratí
is an important historical center today. You will discover
the colonial heart of the city to foot because the cars
are prohibited there. The streets of Paratí conceal
all of the hidden treasures, of the art galleries, the shops
of local arts and crafts, small inns and the colonial residences.
In spite
of their love for the pleasures of the beach, the inhabitants
of Rio feel sometimes the need to breathe the fresh air
of the mountains. Thus the towns of Petrópolis and
Teresópolis were born. These two 19 3rd century old
cities are the heritage of the emperors Pierre 1st and Pierre
2.
