The principal production of the department of Quindio is the coffee, whose seedlings get the most output with the hectare in the world, the departments of Quindío, Caldas and Risaralda constituting the “road of the coffee”, one of the most interesting tourist tours in Colombia.
Parks Nacional del Café is 'a park entirely dedicated to the culture of the coffee where one can better know the process of his manufacture, choice of seeds to the plantation while passing by maintenance, harvest, drying, torrefaction, packing and even the setting in market and the sale.
Located in a vast green zone, the park shelters the museum of the coffee and a watchtower of at least 30 m which allow a rather exceptional sight on all the area.
