The archipelago
of san Andrés there Providencia in the Caribbean Sea,
to 700 km in the North-West of Colombia, is made of islands
to the green landscapes, sand beaches white protected by splendid
palm trees and a sea from coral to transparent water from a
color emerald.
The archipelago which is composed mainly of the islands of San
Andrés and Providencia, was discovered in 1510 by the
Spaniards then forsaken little time after, the English, the
Dutchmen, the French and Spanish asserted the possession in
turn of it, during successive military aggressions. These conflicts
ended in 1793, following the signature of the treaty of Versailles
which recognized the sovereignty of Spanish on the archipelago.
The island
of San Andrés is crossed north in the south by a small
assembly line which reaches hardly 55m rise.
The sea constitutes principal attraction, and the beaches
are maintained as preciously as the golf courses, entirely
cleaned and raked as of 5:00, whereas the tourists invade
them as of 6:00 to leave them only towards 18:00.
Beach with white sand, crystalline water, bay protected by
a coral reef, the sun amateurs will find all the activities
watery and balneal which they wish, hiring of motor bike navy
boards to veil, volley ball or fútbol of beach.
