Pour to brush
on paper a portrait of this overflowing country of thousand
and one richnesses, the best means is not it to start by writing
its name which speaks about itself: Costa Rica, "rich
coast";
"Coast" initially because this piece of the American
isthmus is bordered by two long and sinuous coasts which bathe
in water of the impetuous Caribbean Sea with its corals, or
in the vast Pacific Ocean. Edges of sea which unroll idyllic
kilometers of beaches.
Rich person under so much of aspects still, from its coasts
to the heart of the central Valley. Located at the center
of Americas, the territory costaricain has the privilege to
accomodate a good part of fauna and flora which covers the
remainder with the continent in north as in the south. Its
multiple climates thus get a life as diversified as nature
allows it, i.e. almost without limits! Its mountains and its
rivers, its valleys and its plains, its tropical forests dry
and wet are recognized to conceal one of greatest faunal diversities
of the world. Flowers which embaument air, a luxuriant vegetation,
birds with the songs as pretty as their plumage, butterflies
multicoloured, species little known: the Costa Rica is rich
of its envoûtantes natural beauties which does not cease
fascinating. But rich also of its people, Ticos, cordial and
accessible, and of their culture, recipient of the important
Latin-American unit.
