San
José Syear is located on a small plate surrounded
of two picturesque assembly lines. There are no houses of
the colonial time with San. That is less due to the seisms
which shake this town of time to other than with its late
foundation, in 1737.
At that time, San was not the capital, it became it only
in 1823.
Its inhabitants, Josefinos, are extremely pleasant and obliging.
Their dyes clear surprises the visitor, just as the fair
hair and the blue eyes the many commercial ones.

Some museums of San
- the museum of Gold
It constitutes certainly one of the most beautiful jewels
of the Latin America with those of Bogota in Colombia and
Lima in Peru.
- the Jade museum
It constitutes the largest jade précolombienne collection
of the American continent.
The national museum. One finds there, a room devoted to
the Costa Rican civilization which tells the history of
the country. A room which pays homage to the Nobel Prize
of Peace received by the President Oscar Sanchez Arias in
1987. The museum contains also many parts of sacred art,
objects précolombiens, it is the memory of the country.
Tourist
attractions:
Esmeralda with San, is the place where the men come to seek
the trios or the mariachis to give the serenade to their
wife or been engaged. From 11 p.m. you can benefit from
the music played by the trios which await the customers.
Environment is cordial and alcohol runs with flood until
the early morning.
The national Theatre is probably the building whose Costa
Rican ones are proudest and this room, largest of the country,
sees to occur all the most important events there from the
nation. It was inaugurated in 1897, because 7 years earlier
