Founded
in 1514 by Panfilio de Narváez under the orders of
Diego Velázquez, Havana is recognized by UNESCO like
forming part of the world Inheritance of humanity. This
international recognition in known as length on this historical
city which was the floret of the Spanish colonies. Shopping
centre and seaport, Havana was also an important market
of African slaves resold without impunity with the merchants
of Central America. The increasing fortune of Havana attracted
the covetousness of the pirates who attacked the capital
on many occasions. Since, the cuban capital was in the center
of the bounces of the history of the country, of the wars
of independence at last century until the cuban revolution
of 1959. Privileged witness of an animated history, his
historical and cultural legacy is single.
From
1898 to 1902, Havana lived under the direct cane of the
United States following the treaty of Paris signed by the
United States and Spain. The Republic, indirectly controlled
from Washington, saw the capital radically changing aspect
under the American influence, as well in the way of life
of its inhabitants as in architecture. At the height of
the American influence, the cuban capital was dominated
by the casinos, the cabarets and the night clubs in the
Forties and Fifties. It was then the "pearl of the
Caribbean", or "Assembles-Carlo it of the Caribbean";
rum ran with floods in the felted living rooms, and the
play attracted a number of American gangsters and mafiosi.
The arrival of Fidel Castro to the capacity in 1959 and
the establishment of the socialist model were going to change
the practice of Havanais.
Havana
is not an ordinary tropical city, one of these cities which
give the impression to you to look at a postcard in two
dimensions. Havana has depth and character (it is not tamed
day at the following day), it is mysterious until in its
ultimate cuttings off, and it became Master in the art of
the seduction. You will be able easily to pass between 2
and 10 days in Havana, and, by leaving it, you will keep
the feeling which you did not bore yet all his mysteries.
