QUITO


In spite of its face in Spanish matter , the capital of Ecuador was initially inhabited by many tribes of which Incas, but those decided to completely destroy it before the arrival of the conquistadors. Indeed Incas delivered a fight without thank you to the Spaniards and preferred to shave their city instead of delivering it to the hands invaders.
Even if the city were destroyed by Incas, its colonial center were however rebuilt with opulence and a certain splendour.
Quito was thus officially founded on December 6, 1534.
Perched with 2850m of altitude, surrounded of superb volcanos which seem to protect it, it is the second highest capital of South America after La Paz (in Bolivia).
The town of Quito is stretched on more 30km, over a width of approximately 10 km and divided in two distinct districts:
Modern Quito draws up its high shopping centre, rich person very protected middle-class residences silhouettes gathering, of the banks, restaurants, hotels, bars...
Colonial Quito, the historical center of the city, shelters especially the poor districts. In the north of Quito

The other days of the week, the craftsmen, though fewer, remain néammoins present. A succession of counters to the bright colors where the many woollen articles and identified textile products are sold in Otavalo. In addition to the textiles there, one finds a choice unlimited of products of craft industry at moderate prices such as panamas, jewels, various potteries and other curios.
