FRANCISCO PIZARRO

Born in Spain, Francisco Pizarro was anything else only one poor bastard illiterate. Nothing let predict formidable epopee which was to carry out it to make collapse astonishing it INCA empire. But Pizarro is very intelligent.
He was the subordinate of Vasco Nunez de Balboa when this last crossed the isthmus of Darien (Panama) and discovered the Pacific Ocean in 1513. Later, it is allured by the fabulous exploits of Hernan the Cortes, in Mexico.
In 1520, in spite of its 45 years, it is animated by the desire of new discoveries and wishes to carry out an exploit equal to those of the Cortes and Balboa. With the assistance of Diego Almagro, it decides to undertake the conquest of Peru in the name of its majesty the king of Spain, Charles Quint. Following some unfruitful attempts, he manages to conquer the INCA empire and has to kill king Atahualpa after having betrayed it and makes baptize. He is killed in his turn in Lima in 1541, little time after having put at died his Almagro ex-companion, by the son of this last, Diego el Monzo.
